Makenzie's Spring Recital

Makenzie had her dance recital this last weekend. She did awesome. I am so proud of her. She loves to dance and was so excited to be able to put on make-up.

Derek started crawling. :(
He is such a busy boy and into everything. Just the other day I noticed he was gone. I started yelling his name and running around the house. As I turned the corner this is what I found. I think he was laughing at me. Silly boy. He loves it when I forget to sweep the floor. Lots or yummy stuff under the table. YUM YUM!!

My yucky scare!

Kent came home from work on Friday feeling and looking a little different. I thought maybe he has a mini stroke but his arms and legs felt fine he was only have problems with his face. So we went to the hospital and found out the he has Bells palsy. Which is very common but still scary. His face on the right side is temp. paralyzed. The nerve that controls that side of his face is inflamed. The doctors said if could last one week, six week or even longer. We are praying we will be back to himself soon.

Headstand

My amazing husband doing a headstand. I am so impressed. I tried and my feet come off the floor about two feet then I fell back down.

Cub Scouts!

Tanner is in cub scouts and has so much fun going to den meetings and hanging out with his friends. The scout program has taught him so much. It is very worth it. Just this last week Tanner and his dad have had lots of bonding time while they were designing and building his pinewood derby car. The race was last night and Tanner won first. He raced fourteen different boys twice. It was fun to watch him run back and forth watching his car race down the track. He had a smile on his face the whole time. Kent had a pretty big smiling too. Proud Daddy! Tanner's car is the blue one.

Home School P.E.

My kids look forward to Tuesdays and Thursdays because that is P.E. day. They love going to the YMCA for a hour of P.E. and a hour of swimming. Today was a fun day because they got to play tug of war with each other then with all the parents.

I signed Bryce up for just the swimming lessons and he loved it. He felt like one of the big kids. I also feel swimming is a very important thing for kids to know. No one is to young to learn to swim.

Tanner was old enough to go down the slide during the free swim time. He had so much fun.

Tanner loves to swim and has learn so much in just 16 lessons. I think he can swim better then me. It's excited to see him improve.

Splish Splash

Here are my two little boys having a blast in the tub. Bryce loves teacher Derek new things. He is such a great big brother. They have so much fun together. When bath time is over I sure do have a massive amount of water everywhere.
