Christmas!

SANTA CAME!
Tanner was the one that was really excited. He was up at 4:00 then again at 5:00. Finally at 6:30 we were all up and ready to see what Santa brought.

Derek sat and watched everything. He is such a happy baby.

Bryce loves his geotrax

Makenzie got what she wanted. A CD player with music. She also got lots of art kits.

Tanner was in la la land after opening a pair of snowboard shoes and watching as Kent came in from the garage with a snowboard. I have never seen a bigger smile.

Hebdon Family Celebration Weekend!

A few years again the Hebdon's started the tradition of having everyone meet at their house the weekend before Christmas. It is so fun for the kids. We have our live nativity which the kids love and we also have a kids craft and a mom's craft. We get to open all the cousin exchange gifts and the sibling exchanges. We had so much fun. It gets pretty crazy but it is all worth is in the end. Memories are great!

The kids got to decorate their own gingerbread house.

Preperations before the live nativity.

Derek was baby Jesus. He had fun playing in the straw.

Tanner and Kent were both Wisemen. They came bearing gifts. Kent's gift was a pacifier because Derek was getting a little grumpy.

Bryce was a sheperd.

Makenzie was an angel again. She loves being one of the angels.

Here are the cast members.

Christmas Recital!

Christmas recital time again. Kenzie loves to dance and adores her dance teacher.

Homeschooling!

Okay so I guess a lot of you may think I'm crazy (well except Brooke and Jaclyn) but I have decide to home school Tanner and Makenzie. I'm starting in January. All I can say is it just feels right. I know life will be a lot crazier during the day for the first little while but then hopefully we will get into a routine. Wish me luck!

Happy Halloween!

The day is finally here. The kids have been waiting for this for weeks. They love dressing up. We went to the Ward truck or trick then came home and walked around our block. I'm super glad the weather was so wonderful. The kids all looks so cute in their costumes.

The duo in action.

My four little sweethearts that I love soooo much.

Scouts!

Tanner loves scouts. He received an award at the last pack meeting. It is so cute to see him want to accomplish these goals. He is a true trooper. On Friday he didn't have any school so we sat down and spent two hours working on some of his WOLF requirements and a few extras.

About Bears!

This week we have been dealing with sicknesses. Kenzie has been home trying to get better. So sense she has been home we have been reading books and watch way to much TV. So while watching tv she learned some facts about bears. So she tells me. "Mom did you know that bears eat lots of food then they dehydrate." It was just way to cute I had a hard time correcting her. I just said, "You mean Hybernate." She repeats, "Yes, hybernate." She was so proud of herself.

We went as a family to the Central Washington Fair here in Yakima today to watch Kenzie Dance. She was so cute as always in her costume.

Cereal time!

Derek's first time with cereal. He didn't really know what to think. It didn't take him long to figure it out. He slept so much better with the cereal in him. I tried to prolong it but gave in at four months. I can tell he already loves to eat.

Happy Birthday!

Bryce had his 3rd birthday. He was so excited when the day finally came. Bryce is such a sweet kid who loves life. He is almost always happy. I love to watch him smile because he seems to smile all over. His eyes are my most favorite part of his smile. If you know Bryce you know what I mean.

Bryce helped me make the cake and was ready to eat it when we were done. He had to wait one whole day. Boy was that hard for him to do. The race track idea was from Kent. But Bryce loved the cake and it fit him well. He loves cars.

When it was time to open present Bryce was ready to go. Family came and he kept saying, "It's my birthday. It's my birthday."

I love you, Grandpa

My Grandpa Moulton passed away on September 11. It kind of took me by surprise. His health wasn't so good but he had a very clear mind so I thought he had a few more years in him. I loved my grandfather very much. It was pretty hard on me. The hardest part was watching my grandma and realizing her best friend was gone. I have so many great memories of my grandpa and they will stay with me forever. Tanner told me the other day as I was a little tearful. "It's okay mom, he will always be with us because we have pictures of him." Grandpa is in heaven and no longer in pain. That gives me much comfort. I love you, Grandpa.

The funeral was held in Othello at the Stake Center on September 16th. All the grandkids and great grandkids sang I lived in heaven and I am a child of God. Grandma had two of her brothers and one sister and a sister-in-law come to the Funeral.

Derek is getting so grown up. He's almost four months old here. Derek's middle name is the same as my grandpa's. JOHN

Boulder Cave

A few weekends ago my family and a couple other families went on a short drive to Boulder Caves which is just above Naches, WA. The ride there was a difficult one. It's only about an hours drive but it felt like three hours because the kids would not quit fighting. Car rides are always so much fun.

We arrived and started the mile walk up the mountain. Very beautiful area.

We made it to the cave and the kids had a blast climbing up the rocks. Bryce got pretty mad at me because I would not let he go up to the top with all the other kids. Thank goodness for friend how think about things ahead of time. The next thing I know Bryce has a sucker in his mouth. Thank you Brooke.
