Back to school!

Tanner started school on Aug. 25th. He's in 2nd grade and is getting to know he teacher again. He is trying to not be shy and meet new friends.

Kenzie started a day after Tanner because our district does a staggered start for Kindergartners. She had a great time on her first day. She is meeting some new friends and loves her teacher. Our kindergarten is also all day so she came home pretty tired.

Getting home on the bus. Kenzie's first time riding a bus. I think she was to tired to really talk about it.

Hebdon Family Reunion!

As we were headed to the family reunion we stopped off at the Tillamook Cheese Factory. Other family member were there too.

The cousins joined in the fun.

The kids loved to watch the process of cheese being made.

The kids and their cousins all had a sleepover in the great room.

Every bathroom had a huge jetted tub. The kids said that was one of the best parts of the whole trip.

Preparing meals. Each family had a meal to prepare I got Saturday morning breakfast.

The view from the house we rented in Garibaldi, OR There was a tourist train that came passed the house a few times a day. We always stopped what we were doing to go out onto the deck to wave at the train passing by.

Fun at the beach. It was a little windy but that didn't stop the kids from having a blast.

It was a great surprise to have Uncle Kyle and aunt Kami show up at the reunion. No one new they were coming. Here's Kami running with the kids in the sand.

The wind was prefect for flying kites. Tanner spent a lot of time running around with a kite. I was pretty exhausted just watching him.

Bryce loved the sand that was all he did. I don't think he even noticed the water. Boy was he a mess when we went back to the house.

Bryce also loved kicking the beach ball. He played with that ball for over an hour.

Here are the kids running into and away from the waves.

Uncle Kory posing for the camera.

The baby was so good at the beach. After a few hours he was done and boy did he let me know he was done. I've never heard him scream so loud.

Tanner's Baptism

Tanner was baptized on Aug. 1st 2009 He was so excited for the day to come. As he came out of the water he told his dad "I feel good" Kent said it made him want to cry.

Cousins came!

His friend Logan was baptized too.

Refreshment after the baptism.

KENT AND HIS MOTORCYCLES!

Kent thinks that he needs to get a new or different motorcycle about every year or so. Over the last four years he has had 5 different motorcycles. His latest is a 2008 KTM 450 EXC-R. He has his Suzuki Intruder for sale so hopefully it will get sold fast. He hopes that with his new motorcycle he will be able to use it for going back and forth to work and take his boys up to ride the trails in the mountains.

Tanner b-day!

Tanner had his 8th Birthday! He invited a friend and we went to Family fun center for pizza and arcade games. Then went to the house where G & G H. and uncle Kory were and had cake and ice cream then he got to open his presents. That was the part he had been waiting for all day. Tanner is also looking forward to his upcoming baptism.

Pictures of the kids!

Went to the park last week and toke a bunch of pictures of the kids. I don't do school pictures. I do my own then blow them up for the wall. This is the second year I have done this. It sure saves me money.

So Kent got the wise idea to hook the trailer to Tanner's bike. The kids were entertain for another hour and Kent and I got a little quite time.
