Tanner was invited to the Blue and gold banquet for Scouting. He will not be in scouts for about four more months but our ward invited all the boys that will be turning eight and their families this year. For the banquet each boy was to make and decorate a American cake. Tanner and I made Uncle Sam's hat. It was a fun little project for us to do. Some of the other cakes were the white house, the U.S., an American flag and much more. It was a fun night with friends and a chance to see what Scouting is all about.

Wow, very creative! What a fun night for Tanner!
Good job Mom and Tanner. That cake looks really yummy!! I bet it was great.
Nice work! That sounds super fun. That is super exciting that scouting is just around the corner for Tanner!
So good! :)
I've got a play area in my back yard and you're welcome to come see me. I live out by the mall. I'm a big city girl now.
How creative! I can't believe Tanner is turning 8 this year. When will he be baptized? We would like to come and support him in this so as soon as you know, let me know so we can plan accordingly. Love you guys!
